We opened Chapter 2 in June - and its been a great hit! The store allows us to provide our clients with job-related skills with the goal of providing each young woman with greater oppportunities to succeed as she prepares for the second chapter of her life, after the birth of her baby.
Additionally, all proceeds benefit Grace Initiatives' ministry to pregnant young women at the Jersey Shore.
Chapter 2 Thrift Store is designed to be a learning center where our young mothers-to-be practice job-skills learned in class. Here, they learn how to interact with the public, practice communication skills, as well as observe how a business is run from behind the scenes - all in a safe, loving environment.
Our store is located at 314 S. Main, Forked River, behind Grace's Place Counseling and Training Center. Our brown brick building is directly across the street from the Forked River State Marina on Route. 9.
Now is the time to make a difference with that blouse you wanted to return...
but lost the receipt for...or that extra blender
you received as a gift, when you already had one.

Please understand, because we are a small store front, we WILL NOT be accepting: large furniture, computers, power tools, children's toys, and stuffed animals. Please help us be good stewards of our time and share these items directly with other organizations who may benefit from them.
